Holistic Braces
Braces and Invisalign treatment are scientifically proven to be safe. There are very, very few risks to orthodontic treatment. Every person is different and risks associated with treatment will be discussed with you and your child prior to beginning treatment. The braces and wire are made of medical-grade stainless steel, latex-free ties (colored rings) are available, and Invisalign is BPA-Free. For folks worried about Nickel as a component of their brackets or wires Katsis Orthodontics also offers Nickel-free Holistic Braces. These braces are made of titanium and we will use Nickel-Free, Beta-Titanium Alloy wires to straighten your teeth. Titanium is the primary alloy in dental, hip, and knee implants and is complexly biocompatible. At Katsis Orthodontics we stand by the fact that traditional braces and Invisalign are safe and proven methods to straighten teeth but we pride ourselves on offering alternative and more holistic options for you and your family if you so choose. |
