Q. I am interested in clear aligners and my dentist said I do not qualify.  Do I have to have braces?
A.  As an orthodontic specialist who has successfully treated a variety of orthodontic problems with clear aligners and has done extensive continuing education with them,  we find that very few people are not  clear aligner candidates.  No orthodontist in Bartlett, Bloomingdale, or West Chicago does more clear aligners than we do!   

Q. How often do I wear my clear aligners?
A.  For best results you should wear your aligners all the time except for eating, brushing, flossing, and contact sports that require a mouth-guard.  You should be wearing your aligners on average about 20 hours a day.  Wearing your aligners less than prescribed will slow down or halt treatment and compromise results.
